My name is Kirby Taylor and I have been teaching at Western Primary since August 2011. I graduated from Indiana University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts Education, grade K-12. I earned Bachelors Degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from IUPUI. I hold an Indiana School Teachers License as a School Social Worker and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a Social Worker since 1997. Prior to coming to Western, I worked in 2 other elementary schools for 9 years. Before becoming a School Social Worker, I worked as an outpatient therapist for 2 1/2 years. Thanks for visiting my page! I am so thankful to be working at Western Primary School. I love the rural community school environment. It reminds me so much of my hometown of Akron Indiana. I graduated from Purdue University in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and Minor in Reading Specialty. I have loved teaching because is truly encompasses my talents.
